Our pizza crust is made from scratch with dough that follows world class slow fermentation traditions. We run our ovens at over 600 degrees F, cooking the pies fast and creating spots of superficial char on the crust. Then our pizza topped with house made red sauce, melty mozzarella and the best toppings we can find!

  • “The first thing of note about this restaurant is how fervently the owner, Dave, cares about his food, his drinks, and his customers. The beer is made in house, produce is grown out back in the garden, and the owner is also the chef. This care and attention to the quality of the food really shows in an absolutely superior product.

    Honey lavender lemonade is a must try, and the sourdough crust on the pizza is the best I have ever had (coming from someone who eats a LOT of pizza). Dave is also wonderfully friendly and happy to answer questions about the food and the restaurant. I appreciate the commitment to organic, local food. 

    Now, I don’t drink much, but my Dad loves a good beer and he is a regular visitor for the beer here; today he had a raspberry and an amber. If you get his repeat business for beer, you have got yourself a winner!

  • “Visiting from Chicago (pizza capital of N. America, sorry New York), we happened upon this wonderful, cozy little spot. Our server was also the owner, Dave. He could not have been more pleasant and hospitable. The food was excellent. We had the beet salad and the Caesar salad for starters. The croutons in the Caesar were little chunks of pizza crust, a nice touch. We followed up with a Santorini pizza (feta and Kalamata olives) and a half Margherita/half veggie pizza, both excellent. The crust in particular is outstanding, nice and crispy.

    This is a great place. If you’re on the east side of Portland and not coming here, you’re missing out.”

  • “Went in tonight for takeout and had a wonderful chat with the owner who went above and beyond for me providing samples, finding a cap for the growler I brought from home, even helping me carry my pizza and beer to the car.  What a pleasant experience!!

    Now I’m home and halfway through my first slice and my husband and I are already planning our next visit.  What can I say- this pizza is delicious!! Extremely tasty crust with a satisfying chew. Yummy beer, delicious lavender lemonade.  This is the kind of pizza you usually have to go all the way into Portland to get. 

    It is so wonderful to have delicious quality food in the neighborhood.  We will absolutely be back!”
